*ME HAPPY* ! I finnaly finished it, first time i use pastel for detailled work. I really LOVES hows it turned out. ANd a Background... OMG! what happens to me ;p

wow! I love the coloring on this! Especially on her tail, it looks beautiful! Makes me want to find my pastels and try them out again.

Splendid colors, composition, and use of the chalk pastels (??tr??: pastels secs)...me too, give me the need to go dig some pastels myself...So I must conclude this pic is really inspiring, nice work!

Eww, whats wrong with her ribs! Their like turned all wierd to the side! Good pic though!

:-) Nancy Lavoie replies: "hehehe,i use a reference for this one, the ribs look weird because of the point of view, she is partly turned. the fact that she put her arms up make them go out. Unfortunatly, I can't change it now 16. 2"

Coloring is definately a talent for you. You did a good job on the mermaid, Ive found that I really like merchics so im happy to see one here with you. =) Personally I think he boobs coulda been a bit bigger, but thats totally a personal preference. Im sure you gathered that at my gallery *grin* Do more mergirls!

2 Nancy Lavoie replies: "Hihihi, I don't mind... I usually do big boobs to my character. I did not do on this one cause I was using a photo for reference and I was already having a hard time figuring how they should be 2. I think I'm gonna draw a mermaid soon... yes..."
