Nancy Lavoie replies: " In fact, I'm note quite sure of the name in english. In french it is "Ensorceleuse". So probably a sorceress, she play with elements but still have some difficulties to control her magic. Thanks for the nice comment " | |

| 9 Jul 2006 | Charlie the Lost | Loading...I have quite a lot of negative comments for this pic. I will not start on the fact it is on computer... Although I do prefer the good ol' pencil and pen works. Or even Photoshop coloured. I don't like fully digital art. I think it has no soul... But anyways... Constructive wise, you need to focus on proportion and I'm not too keen on her hair. Nancy Lavoie replies: "You say you have a lot of negative things but you say only 2. Choice of media is personal, there can be a lot of soul in computer generated picture and they for sure can be as hard to produce than hands one. Second, for the proportion... I'm sorry but I used Poser. If you didn't knew already, Poser generate a basic human body structure that I didn't modify that much. and I think, the proportions of the body are ok. Yes the hair is big... BECAUSE if you take time to read the description, you learn that this drawing is made from someone else design! And her character do have big hair... it defies the gravity i know, but it can. And you know why it can? BECAUSE ITS A FANTASY DRAWING and the character is a produce of imagination and lives in a world where everyone can have big hair if they want to. Next time you consider to comment on a drawing, please, make it at least constructive. Thanks" | |
