I wanted to try something different than dragons, so I depicted the norse Ragnarök, (the end of the world). These three are Fenrir, (the wolf), Jörmungand (the serpent) and Surtr (the titan).

Woah. This depicts the Ragnarok VERY well; I feel as small as the humans here... and as hopeless. Despair, fear-- pagan themes, and they are brilliantly and SKILLFULLY portrayed in the End (Ragnarok). Kudos!

Tension is created by the dynamic posing of the figures and the well-considered composition. I also appreciate the tonality, the intentional graduation between hot sky and cooler foreground. Well done.

But Ragnarök is not the end! After the battle a new era will begin... with a new generation of gods (Balder and Höder for example) and new life!

Anyway, this is really talented. I love the emotion. It´s mighty. And since Ragnarök is almost the end, you truly captured the right emotion!

Did you name them yourself? Because 2 out of those 3 names sound familar...Fenrir (werewolf from Harry Potter) and Jormungand (Jormunder character from the Inheritance cycle, or Eragon). 2
