These hands are pretty outstanding/amazing. I personally think the left looks better than the right (its odd, i have trouble drawing the back of the hand). You've done very well on the shading, but i think you should be a little bolder; dont be afraid of dark shadows. You've got a nice gallery here and i look forward to seeing more from you! Natalie K. Tapley replies: "Thankyou very much! You are right, I too think that the left is better than the right- I did it first, so I think that I was feeling more like "YEAH! I'm gonna do this!" when I did that one. Plus I found the lighting on the right hand a little harder. Thanks for the constructive criticism, I am hearing you! Thanks so much for the lovely comment." | |
| 15 Sep 2006 | Elin Josefsson | Loading...I like them, but I think that the light seems to come from different ways on the different hands. The left one seems to be lit from the left, while the right one seems to be lit more from the front. Natalie K. Tapley replies: "They are both meant to be lit from a mixture between the left and the front, and I can see that they don't look exactly right- I live and learn! Thanks!" | |
