another boy! yay! i drew another boy!!! this is a rare occasion! *ahem* sorry. anyway, this is AJ and Shike, two more characters from my "Fire Wind" story. like Miranda, AJ is not an elf, but whenever he enters the Demon World, he goes all elfyish. cute ears! *sparkle sparkle* um...anyways...AJ is sweet, kind-hearted, friendly, a little cautious, and fun luvin! *sighs* what a guy... *notices everyone watching* oh...hehe...never mind... Shike is AJ's little animal companion that is summoned from the necklace around his neck, and is AJ's almost opposite. Shike is still sweet, fun loving, and friendly, but is brash, a little self-centered, and doesn't take well to listening to new ideas. if he has his mind set on something, he won't stop until he gets it. Shike is also the smallest of the animal companions, out of seven, and is always insulted whenever someone makes fun of his size. poor guy. AJ and Shike are still good friends, besides a few disagreements and arguements. hm, i've noticed that most animal companions and their owners get in arguements and very much different from each other. i guess that's what makes them such good friends...

okay, the scanner didn't do anything bad to this pic. *scoffs* for once. my only problem with this pic is my own fault. when i was darkening the eye, my eraser slipped, and made his eye really, really, really dark. so...let's just say he got in a fight before he posed for me. XD

18 Jun 2008	John R Farley Jr	Loading... I like the cross-hatching on Shike. As to the dark under AJ, it doesn’t look that bad. It looks like a shadow from his hair. Natalie Beth Myers replies: "the cross-hatching took a little while because i didn’t want it to look like i scribbled it all. kinda got annoying after a while. XD now, my brother also suggested that the dark spot could just be a shadow, but i never do shadows. so, like i said, AJ got in a fight before he and Shike posed for me. "

Took me years to figure that out; I wouldn’t wish the same drawn-out failing on you... But animal companions need to balance things out, you know? suddenly has an insane urge to play a ranger character so she can get one or more AGH!!!! runs away screaming Natalie Beth Myers replies: "yeah, i know. but me, being the lazy person i am, hasn’t felt like experimenting lately. T.T rolls eyes i really do need to start workin on that. and backrounds. BACKROUNDS ARE EVIL!!!"
23 Jun 2008	Dave Cripps	Loading... Maybe you should invest in a putty eraser. They can be made into a point and you can pick out anything you wish to erase. Good to see you’re going with the composite pictures idea. Just how big is Shike? Natalie Beth Myers replies: "it would be a little hard to find a putty eraser in Cameroon, Africa though. it’s rather difficult to find anything in this country. XD i really want one...pouts anyway. Shike’s shoulders come up to AJ’s elbow, so he is fairly large. "
