The other side of Marian... This one was drawn straight after the 'Marian of the Castle'-piccie, leaving me completely sluggish and un-inspired. I ate chocolate for three days straight after this. Bad. But the result is much to my liking... Oh, and that's supposed to be a birch, not a tiger-tree. And that's also supposed to be a horse, not some undefined mammal in the background. Wheee! for ribbons and leaves and thingies! Yayness!

6B pencil, completely un-tweaked for once.

*FIRST COMMENT DANCE*... Heh... Owen forgot.

You draw really darkly.. not that that's a bad thing... but what kind of eraser do you use... or do you even use an eraser? Because, if this is totally un-tweaked... I don't see any former lines...

Yay for thingies! And that horse looks pretty good, if you were feeling like a masochist, you could make it a little bigger... aaaand... oh yes... the birch tree got me thinking about my science bio final exam... just thought you'd like to know that... and nice job on the textiles!... I guess those are really hard to draw... I can't say I've ever tried.

Yay for Marian of the Woods and the one who drew her!

:-) Natassja Linder replies: "I openly declare my everlasting love for 6B-pencils. Niiice daaark colours. I love my eraser too. What kind of eraser, ye ask? I don't know, says I. Folds and thingies aren't that hard, really. HAND!"

This is as great as your other Marian picture, but I like this one more because you didn't tweak it in the computer. It has just as much depth as the last one. The ribbony things are a nice touch by the way. Keep 'em comin' Matey! HAND!

:-) Natassja Linder replies: "Yay for ribbony thingies! And by the way, I only adjusted the contrast and removed fingerprints from the other pic (So I'm paranoid about the fingerprints. I KNOW they're all out to get me anyway... -looks sneakily around a corner-) so it's almost as untweaked as this one. HAND!"

great drawing! Something I've noticed about your drawing is your absolutely WONDERFUL at drawing hair and clothing and the way it "flows" and lays on a persons body.. awesome awesome awesome.

:-) Natassja Linder replies: "Yay! Thank you Rachel!"
