| 15 Jun 2004 | Pixie | Loading...I love the idea, but the feet dont go. you should look into the anatomy of a horses leg, technically he cant have multiple toes. Natalie Jo Bagby replies: "He's a 'tree' horse, not a horse. Have you ever seen a horse try to climb a tree? It doesn't work well.Besides, if you ever look at a horse's feet, you'll see the remains of two toes besides their hooves. The back of the fetlock joint has a bony spot which is one area of remains, and the chestnut area on the upper foreleg above the knee and the lower rearleg just below the hock. These are left over from the era of Eohippus. Check out this page, found on google.com: http://www.equine-behavior.com/Evolution/Evolution%203.htmAnd just one more thing... I have a filly named Pixie. " | |
