In Elaine Cunningham's "Daughter of the Drow" novel for example, Gromph, the male Drow Archmage of Menzoberranzan, tells his daughter Liriel that she is an oddity since many female Drow are born without the gift for wizardry. This is probably due to the fact that they've been forced to be priestesses for so long that it's now a genetic predisposition. Male Drow are more often the Wizards, so much so that they have no level limit or multiclassing penalty as Wizards. Just thought I'd clear that up. | |

| 6 Jul 2004 | Kaymiril of the Drow | Loading...he's got too bulky a build to be Drow...and YES, male spell casters are EVERYWHERE. Males use Arcane magic, and females use divine magic. And everyone can at the very least cast darkness and a coupla other spells, regardless of rank or class. | |
