| 21 Apr 2003 | Lady 'Suiateh' of the Abyss | Loading...Cool ^_^ The detail is beautifully done, I really like the shading and the pose. Great expression too. But I am very curious, why do you think this is what you look like under your skin? Anyway... cool picture! Nathaniel S. Summers replies: "Thanks. im not shure about the total psychological reason why, but i think it stems from my feelings of inate darkness and of sensitivity. i feel as if i am very, very different from those around me. symbolized by the obviously un-human form of this piece as well as the expression on his face which would be very uncharastic of both reptillian and masculine human feelings. i simply closed my eyes and with my mind, looked at my hands. i began to tear off my skin(in my mind of course), and simply took note of what i saw underneith. in my case, the cover has absolutely nothing to do with the book." | |

| 8 Feb 2004 | Kristen Dullemond | Loading...Ahhhhhh!!!! please keep your skin!!! that's scarry!!! I like you much better with skin... *runs and hides in closet since she had a bad experiance with dust bunnies/monsters last time she hid under the bed* Nathaniel S. Summers replies: "i do plan to stay in my skin thank you. most people are generally more pleasing to have around when they have skin. or rather those without skin are just creepy to have around @,@" | |
| 24 May 2004 | Wayne H. Hodge | Loading...This is an awesome drawing and if this is what you looked like without your skin I am empressed. Because even though you are a creature with scales, claws and a tail I wouldn't fear you as you have a kind looking face. Just as you do in your Bio pic. As they say, never judge a book by its cover. Or in this case a monster by it's scales. Nathaniel S. Summers replies: "thanks! wait, what? I have a kind face in my bio pic? everyone else seems to think me psychotic from that one. *shrugs* I like that statement "don't judge a monster by it's scales." sounds like somthing out of a childrens book I might have read." | |

| 26 Mar 2008 | Helion judge of the necromonkeys | Loading...wow. I agree, that does sound odd. I also agree that one should not rip off ones own skin although im hugely interested to see what a great many people would look like without skin. Its an amazing pic and the muscles are excellent. | |
