like the title suggests, i dreamt this little cutie up. she was in a dream of mine. attacking me with her pet rat until i used her own knife to show her that i was in complete control and showed her that, if i so desired, i could have killed her rat at any time. she then showed me much more respect. i think she's just plain adorable!
*Done with mech pencil, as well as black and red ballpoint pen*

WOOOOAAAAAH! I like this one! It's so creapy. I love the mutant rat thing! Man, you must have some weird dreams. She looks pretty good. I like the dress and shoes a lot. She is very wicked-looking! Very disturbing. Good job!

:-) Nathaniel S. Summers replies: "thanks! weird dreams? thats the understatement of the century! you have no idea, my dreams defy all the preconceptions about dreams. they follow no rules, i have broken them all, everything they say is impossible to do in a dream, i have done, and do on a regular basis."

She does look like the computer game alice.. So dark and evil.. Ooo *shudders*

:-) Nathaniel S. Summers replies: "thanks! although it wasnt my entention for her to resemble that crazy alice, im honored to be compared to such a wonderfully dark character."

Ah, the venerable American McGee version of Alice. Bloody good. I absolutely adore her shoes. And the rat's eye gleams with a malice that can only be confounded by those who have actually played American McGee's game, and by the completely insane.

Wonderful job.

:-) Nathaniel S. Summers replies: "she wasnt intended to look like alice but i cant deny that she does. ive actualy never played the game so i must be completely insane... which i do not deny. but like ive said before, i cant realy be crazy or ide have a perscription for it."

Again this is really great...Shading is kool and not being able to she her eyes makes the drawing 10x creepier!! But i love her she is pretty cute lol and i want her rat, hehe, is it for sale 12

:-) Nathaniel S. Summers replies: "i tell you what, i'll draw this rat holding her knife and i'll dedicate it to you... i havent been feeling well lately and you cheered me up."

Dreams are incredible,aren`t they?
That`s one of our most known and powerful sources of inspirations, they allow us to see something new each time.
Even if the characters are pretty familiar somehow and they make us soo creative.
What would the humankind have done without it or been without it?
I don`t need an answer at that one,but yet it so typical for us to ask like this.
How is it possible to break the rules and do whatever you want anytime in a dream?
I`m aware of that we humans know that we dream sometimes and do what they like to do,but this sound like a...high level of conciousness in dreams.
Is it possible for you to just ask for a favorite thing or weapon or that you like that you invented yourself and then it just appear right in your hand or something?
That is a pretty good thing, dreams are good and like our own fantasy realm and we travel somewhere new each time.
More or less, but by the way, your dreamcharacter is really great there is something about her that I can`t figure out.
A mystical aura sorrounds her,the character herself, the rat,the way she looks and the way she poses.
Was it frightning, does she have eyes or is her hair covering them, how is to meet such dreamcharacters?
I guess it`s like to ask ourselves about it,they`re amazing, but they`re scary and chase you whereever you go and I still admire them.
Are you able to draw all the characters you dream of and what`s it like?
I love fantasydream art and I think you do it pretty neat,I can`t avoid to stop, look and comment these types of arts.
They`re always amazing and great, they will forevermore be and they`re pretty rare to see.
This should be a new form of art,but I`m not the one to decide that.
All my votes for dream arts, what do you think about that surggestion?
By the way,how do we know what uor muse is like and when he\she makes us draw their wishes or write them?
I`m really really really curious about that one and I hope someone can answer me about it.
It sounds like you got an ultimate source of imgination and ideas that comes from your dreams and from your muse, that make good artist with fantasy.
But that`s just me though,my opinion, but one things for sure:We all need to keep uor feet at the ground or we will be lost forever in our own world, unable to get out.
Have you invented a character and then dreamed about it a while later after inventing it?
I have and it`s GREAT.

:-) Nathaniel S. Summers replies: "wow, what a lot of words! dreams are very powerful things. mankind would be lost without them, i agree. i cant make things just appear but i can change things and make things appear as long as i cannot see them. she does have eyes, but for this particular piece i covered them with hair for two reasons: 1 i could not get the eyes right, 2 it makes it much creepier without eyes. dream imagery is an art in and of itself i agree. thanks for the LONG comment."

I now have a fear of little girls , not that i didnt before because little girls can be quite the little....*cough* sorry back to topic, anyways i love this piece its original .

You know what might be really neat? Doing something similar to DreamChild, it being the bordom+pencil=catlady as a little girl rather like the one in DreamChild. Young and unsure of herself in a little catgirl dress, never dreaming she could become the beautiful, free-spirited catlady in that contour drawing. Oh, that would be a powerful set!
