SciFi and Fantasy Art Fire Fae by Marta Fabianek

This started as a simple scribble - I wanted to draw her expression as it is now and I used new pencils that aren't as soft as the ones I usually use. I actually love the way she turned out and those pencils give a bit of a structure feel to it. I like the colours, too, and they're why I called her Fire Fae.

She made me think of more faes like her, I can see a story weaving its way into my head... Maybe more will follow.

Wow!She's really great!I like her pose and expression,they give the vibe of a bad and tough mood,but what i liked the most were the colours you used,so vivid and bright,just perfect colours for a fire fae!Great work,can't wait to see some more like her! ^-^ Marta Fabianek replies: "thank you very much. i like fire-like colours as well as autumn colours so i'm sure i'll be using them again. I love it, though i think it would have made more of an impression it she were standing instead of flying/floating. it makes her seem less commanding. but what do i know It's beautifully coloured Marta Fabianek replies: "Thank you very much. I imagined her either flying and sort of standing still in the air right before an attack or tipping off a heightened ground. "
