| From the perspective of a very cynical fairy tale character. I'm sure you'll be able to figure out who. The third in the series. |

So he kissed me.
So what?
When most men kiss, girls
sigh dreamily and fall into
waiting open arms.
A magical response enough,
I should think.
But when he kissed me,
instead of sighing dreamily, I
woke up.
Imagine that.
A sleep of a hundred years, and
he kisses me, and
just like that, I
wake up.
He was disappointed, I think.
He expected the usual
response, but
my eyes had been closed too long
to close them again to
fall into his arms.
Id never seen the man before
I opened my eyes to find him
gazing down expectantly at me.
And now he wants my
hand in marriage.
Whatver makes him deserving?
I ask.
But he kissed me!
He protests, as if
I am not immune to the
magic of his kiss, given a
natural immunity by my
years of magical sleep.
So he kissed me.
So what?
