The Shade are an elite society of arcanists who have tapped into the power of the Plane of Shadow. Keliantrie is one of them, though she has chosen self-exile in order to forge her own destiny.

Sword hilt design from Luis Royo's 'Nine Tongues, One Tear,' and the cat from somewhere I can't remember (Prof. McGonagal's alternate form?).

Drawn with 6B and EB pencils; smudging, color overlay, and background done with Photoshop 7.
