Tag As FavoriteComment		A Hieracosphix (ugh I can't pronounce it ) is a falcon-headed lion. This little one has gone out to explore the world around his home. In a small marsh along the Nile River, he has come upon a very interesting creature, all slimy wet and green. He decides to further his inspection with an intelligent decision...to poke it with his paw! Slowly...ever so cautiously he moves forward, steadily his toes reach out for the thing and.....AHHH it hops! =)

Whirls and twirls and spins himself right out of his nest, doing the First Comment Dance! groovy drawing..it looks solid and is very creative work...but, Tralfy's already got a Scientific name for that Combination"Pantherafalco ingenius"...(Actually, Tralfy has come up with Sci-Names for practically every imaginary critter that can be dreamed up...Only thing Tralfy is at all really good at doing *sobs*...

Awesome, you've got great shading. Good back-ground too, all though having the completely empty sky above the reeds makes it a bit bottom heavy... Not sure what could be there without looking strange though.
I think I like this one the best out of your three sphinx drawings. Perhaps because it combines two of my favorite creatures, lions and falcons...
You must know quite a bit about egyptian mythology, I've never heard of a sphinx with a head other than human. But then honestly I haven't done any research... *sigh*
