Mm, unfinished sketches, i love em, i can try and pick apart how an artist goes about being so kick arse.

I particularly like the helmet/shadowy face combo. So cool.

'Lusiphur' N.Kirkbright replies: "heh! yeah, I actualy like looking at unfinished art for the same reasons. But I'm a bad person to study, I'm chaotic with how I draw. I don't have any technique or system that I stick with."

I like the helmet too. I have no idea who Deathdealer is (which shows my extensive knowledge of the Verotik Comics crew...)

'Lusiphur' N.Kirkbright replies: "Thank you for the comment. Deathdealer was a character created by and painted in the 70's(60's? not sure)by the god of fantasy art Frank Frazetta. There was a series of books based on the character by James Silke and then later re-done by verotik comics. Both the books and comics had Frank Frazetta covers."

Woah. It looks so professional. Lemme guess, you grew up on Marvel comics, huh? I'm personally a great fan of X-Men, but I never really read anything else.. Everyone really seems to fall dead over this particular style of comics, which I must say possesses a volumptuous delicacy about its controlled chaos, but the exaggeration of various bodily pieces always confuses me. I sit and I try to figure out why this character cannot physically exist, and it just boggles me. If only there was a way to mix the detailed shading of one style with the natural realism of another..

Wow..now THAT looks awesome! I love that skull-lookin' thing on her top! It's wicked..adds even more of a evil/sceery look to it...

I want a DeathDealer. =/ Awesome work Lusi... I'm still amazed by people who get a PENCIL SKETCH looking so damned clean.... my sketches are very fuzzy looking. x_x

As the drawring downloaded and I saw the helmet, Frazetta's Deathdealer was the first thing that came to mind. It is pretty reminiscent of it, but I don't ever recall him wearing that G-string. Eh? Very nicely done sketch. I like the detail and the overall form.

Tell me something...Your art drools..and I hope i can play this character at yahoo for rpg if that's ok with you? Just write me back.
