[of muse] Well, it works best if it's interested, and it's interested in skulls, and so likes to prod/massage heads to find out where the bones are.... Angel Baroffio replies: "By not really I meant I don't really know what my muse is like. Sorry about that. Um... I'd love for you to help me out with this. About her world... Caela is kind of cloistered. She doesn't know many people, she doens't know much about her own world. I have another bit I just wrote, if you want to read it. It's kind of short, but it'll take forever to go through..." | |
| 19 Jul 2006 | Cecily 'SLWS' Webster | The great things that she's destined for? Dunno. What's her world like and what do her mother and father want from her? You could bring her on-page and let my muse "find" her skull, it likes doing that...have you got any idea what your muse is like? They're easier to keep track of personified... cecily's muse: [6ft albino mothlike thing cleans its big pink eyes with disturbingly humanoid six-fingered and delicately webbed hands, rubbing mantislike midlimbs together] k'chip. Angel Baroffio replies: "Not really... what do you mean by "find her skull"?" | |
| 22 Jul 2006 | Cecily ´SLWS´ Webster | Where're you sending it through, then? [has no story this end] Angel Baroffio replies: "Les mods. And that. It's going to take forever. And I leave early tomorrow... I really hope we have the dorms with the computer lab this year, I would miss technology horribly." | |
| 22 Jul 2006 | Cecily ´SLWS´ Webster | [waits, glaring at hotmail and drumming fingers] Angel Baroffio replies: "why are you angry at hotmail? I'm confus'ed." | |
| 22 Jul 2006 | Cecily ´SLWS´ Webster | [dramatic 'hasted' pose] Quickly, then, before work and packing ambush me... Think why she's kept away from others. Is it her weird obsessive-over-dead-child mother, is it the way she acts/doesn't act around other children, some danger? Is she just too different to be accepted amongst them, or someone tells her/she thinks that? What about animals? Is she allowed near those? Does she bond better with them than people, is she indifferent to them, does she kill birds because she can? Also where she's kept and what effect that has on her ideas of the world... Angel Baroffio replies: "Mostly, she doesn't hang out with other kids because her mother's house is so secluded. Animals... hm... I hadn't thought about that. I suppose she could feel some kindred to them. Ophicha tends to be protective, but the girl is mostly left to her devices. Although, you'll see the more protective side of the mother in the next bit I'm sending through." | |
| 13 Aug 2006 | Cecily | Des conseilles de France: (salut!) If you wander far and wide, giving comments that are helpful and show off your views on things, then people will wander over out of curiosity, surely they will. Say what you think, what you like, what's daft, and worry not about offending people: your opinion is your opinion and you have a right to it. Also, they can't come round your house to complain. Angel Baroffio replies: "Good points, good ideas... mmm... Thanks!" | |
| 14 Aug 2006 | Beth Alice O´Leary | Eeep! I'm so sorry, I was intending to read on but I am forgetfull! You must poke me more often, I'm unused to polite writers and have many a scar from constant nagging I'll be on to chapter three as soon as I can! Angel Baroffio replies: "Oh! Ok. Thank you!" | |
| 15 Aug 2006 | Cecily | That's a point - if you get people who like reading your stuff, you can wave at them when you write new stuff...and kick them if they neglect to do the same for you... The links in Shanra's bio ( http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/libr/s/h/shanra/ ) might help you on commenting uncertainty. You don't have to be a grammar vulture, though; Gods know I only pick out amusing typos and mistakes by non-English speakers. There's styles of commenting. Hell, I've even had delinquent charactes break into mine. [waves to Beth] I'll get to Turquoise when I can... Angel Baroffio replies: "Ok. I'll take a look when I get home from school today, I think." | |
| 16 Aug 2006 | Beth Alice O´Leary | Rightee-ho, Angel, I'll get on to the other pieces soon (so much reading to do!). *waves back to Cecily* T'would be greatly appreciated, thank ye! Angel Baroffio replies: "Good deal, thanks bunches!" | |
| 20 Sep 2006 | Cecily | Happy Talk Like A Pirate Day! (even if it's over in Sweden already) Yarr! There be a bar thing giong on over at Bethie's, arr... | |
