Another species from my webcomic, Native (www.nativecomic.com), is the Hard, children of Arthel Hard. The name is somewhat Dickensian, yes. 

Amos and Kirna are two scientific minds with a particular lack of respect for the law.

Amos existed in the previous incarnation of Native; Kirna was created for this new version.
