  | Concept art from my graphic novel, Native, this is the main setting of the book. In the original workings of the graphic novel, before I started over from scratch, the characters rode underwater in a spaceship converted for submarine travel. I pictured something more absurd this time - air travel between islands in space. Then I said, "My book, my rules!" Take that, physics. |
