Welcome to the wonderful world of drawing. Your stuff looks much better than mine when I first started to be sure!
My suggestion would be to use photographs to copy faces from until you get used to the flowing of the human face. It looks like your trying for some realism, so using real peoples' photographs will help out. The cartoon stuff is really good, especially Pikachu!

I mean he can basically draw anything... but god didn't give him everything, he's a real bad teacher.
