PhotoNeil M. Jensen is a half-crazy raving monkey disguised as a half-crazy raving human child... Heheh... Just kidding about the half-crazy part, he's completely insane.

Great work! Welcome to the woods, and I would like to say that I have began my trek to comment every artist in the elfwood comunity (or at least I'll try to..) Any way, I'd like to say practice, but I don't like to say things that apply to me12

Welcome to Elfwood, Neil! I hope you enjoy it here. Interesting pics you got here. I'd suggest getting some books on the human figure or studying from RL to get better. I know (from experiance) that it's always hard, but as they say art is 1% talent and 99% practice! Have fun and don't stop!

well I'm not sure you want me to say the same as the first comment. But at least you started earlier then me. I didn't get into drawing until I was 14 years old... So it takes a while. Great start! I look forward to your updates.

Hi Neil,

Welcome to the wonderful world of drawing. Your stuff looks much better than mine when I first started to be sure!

My suggestion would be to use photographs to copy faces from until you get used to the flowing of the human face. It looks like your trying for some realism, so using real peoples' photographs will help out. The cartoon stuff is really good, especially Pikachu!

See ya later!

It looks like you like to draw very much. I hope your "thirst" never leaves! What would life be, without the beauty of drawing?? Well, I'm just asking ^^

And listen to Michael! Use some real photos to draw after. That's a very good way to learn how to draw people....

The best of luck! And keep up the good work!!

Hey there! your drawings are pretty good! I can only draw stick people from my head, & can only draw what is in front of me. The advice from the other people is sound & highly recommend. Or, if you want, you can take some drawing courses (& as a bonus to that, you get to meet some new friends to practice with). Good luck!! 2

Hey,
I'm 15 now, and I am trying to learn how to draw... My dad used to draw portraits and he is THE BEST artist I've ever seen. I mean he can basically draw anything... but god didn't give him everything, he's a real bad teacher. I've tried drawing some pictures of people and just working on faces basically and enlarging things... do u know where I may be able to find some pictures to draw off? I mean could u be able to get me some sort of base (doesn't have to be very simple)...
