Conceptual piece.
Sometimes you can't help but feel attracted to something that is unsuitable for you, or even harmful.

The background, wings and some textures are photos. Everything else is digitally painted.

Wooooooooooow... This is incredible!!! That mean face on the flame, how he's happy to have burnt and killed that other mooth fae and how the other one is soooo attracted to the light... I saw another piece with this theme called "lovers" just yesterday- i love the way artists see the same idea in such different ways- beautiful work

:-) Nela Dunato replies: "Thank you. This was actually done for a contest and it had to depict the theme "attraction". Most people did either something related to love, lust or wish for material things... but I guess mine was to morbid to get into finals 2"

Great work with the light and shadows! The figures could probably do with a bit more refinement - it looks a bit unfinished on close inspection. But great work! A well deserved mods choice.

interesting, i know that feeling well. this is a great peice. you have good style. the colourse are nice and i like the wee little demon in the flames. looks likee my kinda evil grin.;D
