Tag As FavoriteComment		Another art contest contribution. As you can see, the dragon is heavily influenced by my 'Baby Dragon'. You might say that this is the baby dragon some years later... + front legs(!) I think it turned out rather nice, though I was not sure how to colour it. I was playing with the thought of having a night sky with stars, which would have meant totally different shadings and colours, so I was thinking of colouring it in Photoshop (which would have meant that I could easily experiment with colours and if it didn't turned out the way I wanted, I could always try again - something you can't do with water colours). But in the end my old reliable water colours won - I have noticed that you get more votes in the mentioned art contest if you stay away from computer colouring. The original is 11' x 8', and materials used are pencil and water colours. Time spent: about 8 hours.

Yay, great pic! I had the same idea some time ago12. But in my version the dragon is bigger and hides two little sleeping faeries under his wing before rain. If I only would get my god damned scanner working, I could show you... But so perhaps a good idea for your couple
