| 3 Feb 2005 | Meeeeeeee! | Loading...Yes its nice when women have curves...but that blonde has the figure of a man, she's like overly muscular (well drawn though) I dont know, I personally think she less attractive than the brunette. Plus the blonde's boobs are the size of mellons. She's like a mideval version of Britney Spears. But w/e. I love the elf, she looks so graceful and beautiful. I really like her long hair. This peice is very well drawn, and i love the color. | |
| 7 Feb 2005 | Skye | Loading...I LOVE the blonde's figure. She's absolutely stunning, with her round hips and her large thighs. She has a nasty look on her face, of immense dislike, but still, I don't think the elf has a more beautiful facial expression, scornful and nasty. They are both so beautiful in their different ways. I salute you for this beautiful picture. | |
| 14 May 2005 | Hannah | Loading...AHHHH! This makes blondes look like skanks! But I LOVE it! Keep up the excellently awsome work. | |
| 11 Oct 2005 | Kitty | Loading...That is quite the contrast between the two of them. The one's cooly pretty, and the other is very angry, apparently. She'd have to be to make that face. It would be annoying to leave your family and people to deal with her. I hope she was extremely in love with the guy. It's kinda funny that your reviewers are up in arms about their body types. Technically both are unhealthy looking, although the elf can portray those who have a very thin build. If people took care of themselves they wouldn't end up looking like the human girl. Either way, this is fantasy and should have nothing to do with people's biases. You're a wonderful painter. | |

| 14 Jun 2006 | Hazen | Loading...Please don't kill me... I have a small bit of critique for this picture before I start praising you.
The human woman's neck/shoulder area is a little too dark/red, unless she has a sunburn there. While the light is naturally cut off from that area by her hair, it seems that the neck/shoulder has a little too much red in it to be a natural darkening of a skin tone. I would credit the drapery/Elf's dress for this extra bit of red, but if the light is cut off by her wonderfully blond hair, so too is the red for that particular area.
Even with that, the picture is amazing. The expressions on their faces are wonderful, the figures are fitting, and the back story is a very nice touch. One question on that though: If, like the end of your paragraph says, she loves him, why was she forced into marrying him?
| 10 Jul 2006 | Socorro Alvarado | Loading...Wow I have to say that I am speechless. Wow I would have to say that I like the brown haired girl better then the blond I also have made a story kinda like this but kinda different but there´s something that bothers me is if the girl in the blond hair is his cousin then why does it say that she is in love with him? by the way this pic totally rocks. ^.^ | |
| 22 Jan 2007 | Dana | Loading...Isn't it lovely that we have to pick apart a woman's body, even is she is just art!!! And women are in on this too...? There is not hope for any of us, since nobody can possibly be "flawless." I love that Nataliy showed women who are both shaped completely different. The blonde is overly muscular...? So there are no muscular women out there? She doesn't look like Hercules for heaven's sake. Let's quit trying to cram women's bodies into a tiny little box that you guys find attractive and that no woman can fit into. | |
| 10 Oct 2007 | Wilma van Strijp | Loading...Really nice painting! And of course the elvish woman is thin like we all think elvish woman are....and of course that automatically makes the human woman more filled...and it is just that...a bit more filled....not fat by all meens. Have you all seen to many anorexic bone bags to not see that woman are not meant to be without a little around the waist? Woman (eventho modern woman dislike this fact...and yes it is a fact) were created by nature to carry babies...in order to carry offspring a female needs resources... And in order to protect the things that will help the offspring grow it needs tissue in between what needs to be protected and what can possibly do harm. Stop looking at the supposedly perfect bodies of models on pictures...as they are computer manipulated to look just right. And stop putting women into narrow boxes in which 90% of them wont EVER fit... This drawing is perfect and I love how the story is portrait in the whole ambiance. Its more life like that most pictures of perfectly kept bodies I have seen around here and other places. And next to that...whoes fantasy image is this? Yours or the one drawing it? Exactly! | |
| 18 Jan 2008 | Anon | Loading...It´s beautiful, and I mean both of the women, although I like the elvish girl a bit better. She looks more graceful (if a little bit arrogant) and less like a vengeful harpy.
And it doesn´t make a woman "less womanly" if she is a bit on the slender/skinny side. Nobody choses their body shape.
How can anyone say "the curvier the better"? That´s as discriminating as to say that the right one of this pic is fat. Not every woman is so lucky to obtain large breasts and full hips from nature.
