I am an 18 year old design student living in Christchurch, New Zealand. I enjoy Martial arts, Marilyn Manson, Tool, Cripple Mr Onion, NIN and alot of heavy music, bass guitar, self-dicipline and hope to someday have too much money. I drew alot as a kid but then stopped when I realised it was taking me nowhere, then I met a girl when I was 16 called Shannon Williamson, who re-inspired me to get back into art, just for my own enjoyment. Some of my favorite artists include HR Giger, Shannon Williamson, Marilyn Manson, Mark Ryden, Brom, Feng and Hamilton Cline. I draw some more graphic stuff which I don't have online and a bit of fantasy stuff but not enough that I am pleased with to have a gallery here. My infuences come from my dreams, books, things I see wrong in odd lighting and just some of the most messed up stuff I can think of. I don't have any advice for anyone, there is no deeper srirtual message behind my work, I don't expect you to see through to to what I'm 'actually trying to say beneath the image' what you see is what you get, either you like it or you don't. I don't like most of it so I won't blame you for not thinking it's so amazing. I draw alot of goblins and the like, they're great cause humans look dumb or all too pretty, I also love Robert Jordan's Wheel of time series, but haven't done any art from it. This is my sorta-sci fi stuff, none of it's set in the past as armour is too hard to draw. More to come, I promise. Oh, also I don't accept suggestions, not cause I'm too caught up in my own ideas but because I can't draw that well.

Shannon Williamson - My best friend, please go visit her art, it greatly inspires my work and is worth telling EVERYBODY about. Unfortunately the scans don't do the images justice, but hey it's an imperfect world isn't it?
Caric C. Stevenson - Ok as a general rule I don't like the anime-ish drawing on Elfwood, not cause I don't like anime, I love it. But because it's all the same here and a lack of real pictures I get VERY sick of it... this gal's is different, it's not the mass-produced form of anime that we all know. I'm not even sure if it is anime... PLEASE VISIT ALL HER GALLERIES, they are all insanely good.
Chris Spall - A friend of mine, he inspired me to draw on the back of everything i got in school. His art is creepy in a non-stereotypical way.
Hamilton Cline - This guy has inspired me to do great things, his early Wheel of Time work blew me off my feet.
Stephanie Law - The best artist on Elfwood, might as well stop fighting and get used to it.
Tony Freitas - Heaps of talent, lovely lines and body-shapes, check out his sci-fi stuff as well.
Dennis Alvarez Domingo - This guy is a fine arts student, really amazing stuff, and he's a Wheel of Time nerd like me =]
Igino Giordano - Amazing use of colour and attention to detail, coupled with the ideas he has, makes him one of the must-see's on Elfwood
Lipták László - Wow, this guy gets so much detail into such a tiny amount of space, very fantasy, very epic, his short bio is made up for with his mass bulk of art.
'Evil Ninja' Rochelle Green - One of the best on elfwood, a must see. Unfortunatley it has the horrid effect of making your own art look lifeless and crap, well worth the risk.
Kay - Kay's work never ceases to amaze me, vampires and such, go have a looksee.
Ross Campbell - Hell, this guy uses volour brilliantly to achive some really nice art indeedy. He does some damn awesome peircing pics as well, very cool.
