even tho you say the mouse sucks it amazes me how well you did these four elements. I like this. You put a great amount of life in those eyes, not just that, but also personality. Those two are important for me and you did them well. The colours of the background suits the elements well.
A suggestion, if you have not already done it, is to show these characters with other poses on bigger paper, because I see them to fit for a personality sketch ^^, I like their personality that's why ^^
