Tag As FavoriteComment		The first snow has fallen. The storm that brought it only just passed. A nymph stands beneath the tree that once sheltered her from the sun's summer heat, watching as the little woodland animals scrounge for what food can be found. *EDIT* 7/2003- A cleaned up better version for your veiwing pleasure. ^_^ Touched up the tree and put a bit more detail into the nymph.

Gorgeous...the tree looks lonely, standing out there all by itself. I love the colour of the nymphs hair especially.

The composition is wonderful! Of course, I'm pretty partial to snow-scenes... 10

I could suggest some crisp dark tones on the tree and on the dryad, maybe some sharp textures; the line of spruce trees feels like what's in focus, and I think that some more details on the figure and the tree would bring our attention back to them. Love the creatures!

Seriously though, I like this picture - the atmosphere and background are very nice. ^_^ Yaaaay talent!

2 Venessa (Sed) Persons replies: "  Well, I tried giving her shoes, but she wouldn't wear them. I barely convinced her to put on the dress! Something about interfearing with her connection to the earth.... I dunno... strange creatures, nymphs. *sigh*"

god.. the nymph looks cold.. she's probably thinking why the hell am i in this skimpy dress with no shoes?! it works for summer but draw me in something warmer!! >D
