Tag As FavoriteComment		This piece is the third in the Gargoyle Seven Deadly Series I am doing. Appropriately titled 'GREED'. In this work I was inspired by the CEO's of such companies as Enron, Exxon, MCI World Com, and the oil companies. Who's quest for ungodly wealth has led them to deplorable acts. Especially against their loyal workers. The body style was done in a classic and dynamic style. To look impressive at first, but when you the viewer really take a good look, the musculature looks grotesque. This is due to the fact that corporate types such as the ones mentioned above, base themselves on a power image. The background is a little larger in this work, and the gargoyle appears to be hiding with his worldy treasure, to show that those poor souls afflicted with GREED. Are in the overall scheme of things not that significant. And BTW the Latin inscription means, 'The maddened lust for wealth.'
