"Just a Small Prayer (colored)" by Nia Star

Christa dear Christa, you know when I write its for your own good Alright your still hiding away from a different angle your still using profile and side views as a crutch, you have to try and make the drawing stand out. The arms are still too small (Stop watching all the sailor moon and check out some people walking down the street for better proportions, thats what I do ) next the water seems to be a small puddle with the sharp curves. The knee and the cape show that your still afraid of feet! Just draw them!!! Don't be afraid or you'll never get over that fear. Um.. the trees in the background, they look way too organic and fluid, but it goes with the piece although it seems as if they are floating above the ground, try a bit of shading to mak up for it. I like the mountains and the sky though, really makes it stand out, but it doesn't seem to go with the foreground. the colors just clash ya know? The sword could have used a bit more detail, but simplicity is sometimes best. Um... hands, same as feet, try letting the fingers live a little and you will see your work will take leaps and bounds. You know I love ya

u r still doing the whole flat face thing. It doesn't ruin it but it would be nice 2 c sum realism with the facial proportions.
