A commission. Japanese dragon with a hunky male rider.

I hate drawing men.... and dragons, for that matter. The anatomy escapes me and my meager talents. So be gentle.

That guy looks too heavy for that dragon 12. Neat, I like it. There's a lot to look at and take in.

:-) Nicole Therese Hanna replies: "That's what I think too! Half the durn thing was drawn before I realized the guy either needed to be smaller, or the dragon bigger. Didn't have the heart to erase all that work to fix it. lol"

Umm...sorry, but that dragon looks a tad bit small for the guy and the guy looks a tad but big for the dragon. again, sorry.

After having just looked through most of Ilene Meyer’s art book, I stumbled upon this drawing and couldn’t help notice the similarities. Were you perhaps inspired by her work? In any case, this drawing is terrific.
