added: 06.05.04 this came out almost exactly how I wanted (for once!) I'm so pleased :) - I drew this the other evening and stayed up till 4am colouring it, I finished it off last night at about 2am. In my head I had the image of some kind of empowered being, not a god or a wizzard as such, more like an embodyment of some kind of spirit, enjoying power and freedom, and getting a kind of rush from it - he's falling through the sky.

Hi There Vici, thanks for commenting! - The reason the figure stands out so much is because he is solid with a lot of contrast and a strong outline where as the background is very diffused and blurry...it's a technique I'm still trying to get right but it's fun to play with!
