I'm going to make you feel better by commenting on something BESIDES THE LENS FLARE, People.

The raven doesn't necessarily need work. I think it looks more natural if it's in your style, that way it matches him. It wouldn't look right if you had a raven that looked as if it were from a photograph on his shoulder...It'd be out of place and would detract from the pic. It's simplicity helps.

I like the feel to the picture. It's as if he's walking away into the darkness, but that last beam of fading light hits his sword and causes the eerie flash...And I still love that sword. ^^

Good work, Nick!

I really like this once again GREAT COLORING!! lol heehee! and i seen how everyone asks you how to get the lens flare, which adds a very nice touch. i just want to say to everyone its not ALL about that!!!, focus on the PICTURE itself the whole thing lol!! look at the picture, every picture tells a story and this one is really sweet!!! love the shoadow!! 1!!! and the red eyes are totally COOL!

8 Nick E. Dease replies: "  yes the whole lens flare thing was very confusing ...they didnt even tell me anything....other than to email them how to get the flare....people these days! dont even look at the pic! well, thnx for commin"

Quit coloring?!?! *le gaspeh!* See what you flare crazed people almost did?! You could have ruined a shiny new career for this poor artist! Sheesh, some people. 12 Anyways...Just wanted to let you know, I figured out html (w00t!) and put a link to you on my bio. Hope that's okay with you.

:-) Nick E. Dease replies: "nothing could've stopped the art! btw, i picked up a little html myself 1, ill be sure to check it out. "

Hey it's me again! Lol, well besides the nice flare and the coloring effects, I also like how you did his cape... I think I've already told you I like your capes or robes or uh things. They are very nice, and the crow. I think the crow just puts on a whole different feel to the pic, he's really cool. How much is that photoshop? I really need one 8 my gallery is plain lol.

1 Nick E. Dease replies: "DUDE! ur pics with photoshop would be awesome!, you can get it at like 60$ here in va , you oughta check it out"

I think that the knight's face goes perfect with the way the body looks, but I do think that you should work on the raven on his shoulder.

:-) Nick E. Dease replies: "yeah, the raven's not to great ,but then again i've never drawn a raven before 10"

Oh wow.. all I can say is that this is really, really cool. No wait.. I can also say that I like your style of coloring, and that the folds in his cloak are neat looking! Hmm.. one question though.. Would a sword really be that shiny? Ooh, it must be a magic sword...

2 Nick E. Dease replies: "lol!, thanks, chessie!"

no noo nooo! don't work on the raven, I think he's cool!!!!
as a matter of fact, he's what I like the best about the picture (not to say the rest of it isn't completely awesome). The Raven is very simple and I think his eyes are nice, everything in the picture works together...
Great job on the cloak too! I was *going* to say I like the lens flares but I won't now cause you have probably heard it enough..hehe. The color in his armor is really good too

2!

2 Nick E. Dease replies: "wow, thanks for the hefty sized comment there @_@. im glad you liked the picture. and boy, have i heard alot about that lens flare 10!"
