The ladyblade is a one-of-a-kind weapon, a magical artifact from a long lost civilization and it's powers can only be brought out by one unique person each century. The person must of course be a woman but she also has to be the bearer of a special mark, the Mark of Saga. The Mark of Saga is a birthmark in the shape of a crescent moon and it can be found in the inward curve of the lower part of the back.

I love this picture, very nice shading, but I was wondering about something in the description...it says something about a new moon shaped birthmark, and when I look up at the sky during a new moon, well, I don't see a moon. I think it would make more sense if it were crescent moon shaped *like the curve of the blade*

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Oups...sorry. My bad. Of course that's how it was supposed to be. I'm just not too familiar with moon-terms I'm afraid. "

Good Gravy! This is stunning! A gorgeous weapon and an equally gorgeous woman, along with an awesome story. Very well done! Keep up the amazing work!

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thank you Jessika! I'm happy to hear that you liked this piece and it's story. I'll do my best to come up with some more art for everyones viewing in the future, but in the meantime you can always find a few non-fantasy drawings on my personal webpage. Just follow the link above on the right hand side to get there. "

Her face needs a little bit of work but the rest of this picture is perfect down to the last detail! That is a wicked cool weapon!

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "As usual some of the shading was lost in the process of scanning the picture. I don't like it when that happens but I assure you that the original drawing looks just fine...better then fine even. "

I really really love all your artwork, gives me insperation to kick myself up my ass and keep drawing so hopefully one day i can draw stuff like this. But yeah i love this picture... her pose and the mood.. everything.. oh and one more thing.. reckon she would let me check her tattoo out if i asked? < D

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Your generous words make me feel proud Danny. She's kind of hostile towards men, but you can always ask. There's no harm in asking... unless she splits you open like a ripe melon. "

I love the weapon, but you should have drawn her in a perspective so you can see the moon mark. it would complete the story and picture a bit better.

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thanks for the tip Mari. I didn't think that far at the time... "

I LOVE your drawings. The girls gorgeous and all the pictures have great detail!! The weapons are cool too. They're so realistic. Keep up the great drawings!!

:-) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "I'll try my best to come up with some new art for you and I'm glad you like my creations. "

Her leg does not look crippled...It would do that if a girl was sitting like this....
her face is fantastic and goes right along with the rest of her. And why is it that the only real "crap" talk against drawings comes from most who stay "ANONYMOUS"
Nicklas...You know you are amazing and I have looked at all your work...It is fantastic....
Care

12 Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thank you Carrie Lynn! So it wasn’t just me then. You’ve obviously noticed the same thing as I have. There seem to be some sort of dark connection between trashtalking and people by the name os "Anonymous". Strange... "
