Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Well, intimidation is a great ally so these knights of mine were designed to have an 'evil look' to them. Maybe it's working then, I don't know... " | |

| 8 Jun 2005 | Icetalon | Loading...he looks lyk a dude from warhammer legions of chaos. this isnt an insult. i LYK the warhammer legions of chaos! Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "I'm afraid I wouldn't know since I'm not a follower of Warhammer. I'll take your word for it. " | |
| 11 Jun 2005 | Jean-Philippe Savoie | Loading...It looks like a teutonic knight from from the Holy Roman Empire, except for the helm. The cloak and the simple symbol of the Cross is what gives me this impression. As it was mentionned before, this is one of the first time I see a fantasy plate armor that allows the guy to swing his sword in any direction...well, in fact the helm wouldn't allow it. Nice, realistic pic here. I like realism, it's so rare in fantasy these days. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thank you Jean-Philippe! I tried to do this one as realistic as I could apart from the longhorned helmet. I know I probably mentioned this before, but I think that the general idea of fantasy is that you don't have to stay within the frames of logic. You don't have to think about what would or would not work in reality. Maybe it's just me, but I think that's what defines fantasy. Hence the name... fantasy. " | |
| 24 Apr 2006 | Andrew | Loading...This is an insult to catholic faith u non-believer!!!! Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Hmmm... I fail to see how on earth this picture would offend anyone Andrew. Could this have been a little prank from your side perhaps? I think it might have been... " | |
| 2 Aug 2006 | Tweak | Loading...if they are an "infamous" order how come they are sworn to protect AGAINST evil? and what if the evil is from mankind, eh? Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "That’s the tricky part when you battle against evil. The darkness has turned the masses against these knights over the centuries. Fighting evil is never easy, especially when honest people reject you as they have been duped into seeing you as the evil ones." | |
| 1 Sep 2006 | Amber M. Burgess | Loading...Referring to the above comment - "Holy" Crusades...yeah...bad. Not all the time are religious characters, shall we say--nice? But the shading is beautifully executed. ^_~ Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thank you Amber. Your explanation works too..." | |
