| 2 Jan 2005 | Jake | Loading...All I can say is WOW!!!! That is the best drawing of beauty and death in the same image I've ever seen. Keep up the good work. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Glad you think so Jake, thank you! " | |
| 2 Jan 2005 | Liz | Loading...Wow. Wow, again. Very, very realistic. You have a very clean, crisp way of drawing. It's amazing, I really really like it! Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thank you for those kind words Liz (and thanks for leaving the first comment as well). The cripy style must be something I was born to use, especially since I put so much preasure on the pencil. " | |
| 4 Jan 2005 | Brenna | Loading...meep!!!! Scar, yet cool. dude you draw the coolest pictures. I will call the horses Binky, Muffin and Ben, if that ok with you. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "You sure comment a lot Brenna, not that I mind. The naming of the horses is of course optional, I don't think they would mind being called... Binky, Muffin and Ben. One can only wonder how you could come up with such malicious names for them. " | |
| 14 Jan 2005 | Anonymous | Loading...My god. the eyes suck you in! You feel like staringn at this one for ever!!! You're my hero. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Thank you whoever you are. Never noticed the thing with the eyes but maybe there is more to this picture then I thought. " | |
| 23 Jan 2005 | Cayle | Loading...Wow, I love this pic, although when I first saw it, the wraith in front looked like he had breasts...But it is an awesome pic. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Breasts?! Manboobs you mean? I've been told some of my male characters are equipped with such physical attributes but I didn't see that one coming. You said 'when I first saw it', does that mean they went away? " | |
| 4 Aug 2005 | Danneskiold | Loading...AMazing, reminds me of the inquisition though. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "But it is the inquisition in a way, isn't it... " | |
| 25 Feb 2006 | Goodfellow | Loading..."No one suspects ze spanish inquisition!" - Mony Python's Flying circus. Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "A funny bunch Monty Python, I've always liked their sense humor. " | |
| 14 Oct 2006 | Rui Alves | Loading...I have seen all your draws, and i have seen this one and spotted it as an good draw, i think that the way that you draw the horses is simply perfect, I’ve tried to draw horses many times, but I always end drawing an Elf, and the details on the spear are very well done, and the wraith with no offence to the drawer, I think that they are to humanoids...
But is a good draw, and i hope one day when i trained some more i could draw half as well as you draw... Like i saw all your draws are incredibly well draw.
Rui Alves (portuguese name) Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Maybe horses are not what you were destined to draw Rui. They can be really tricky to say the least. Just keep on drawing and it will come to you. Personally I’m still learning to draw them." | |
| 10 Apr 2007 | Anonymous | Loading...Fantastic horses! But the second horse back looks a little too happy for the situation... Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "It’s the scan that makes it smaile but I see what you mean. In the original it’s showing its teeth in what now looks like a smile. Never thought about it until you mentioned it." | |
| 26 Dec 2007 | Tagg Wood | Loading...I love the eyes, but what’s up with the lead horse’s lip? Perfect pic!!! Nicklas Lundqvist replies: "Well... it’s rotting... what would you expect?" | |
