Hi there, Lindsey! You dropped by my shelf and honoured it by commenting on one of my stories. So I came back to do the same Shame your stories page is giving a 404, but the pictures alone were worth the trip You have some really neat things up here!

And about your MC: be proud! It caught the attention of the mods so that alone makes it stand out. Every MC I see going up is "affected" by flamers that are usually so jealous that they completely trash a piece. So never mind them. Originality and novelty are just as important as artistic quality, even if not everyone thinks like that. (Oh, and no...I didn't comment on it since I tend to avoid MC's. People usually get loads of comments on those pics anyway and I prefer to visit the other pics).

Keep up the good work and don't forget to swing by the story section more often

And as for the lion, cubs are born with blue eyes that may or may not go to amber. Rare as they are, there ARE lions with blue eyes.
