Not touch the pencils for a year? Boooo, what an injustice - you are FAR too hard on yourself! You have such incredible talent, eye and imagination. Everyone has that frustration, but you have to push through it to the rewards on the other side... as a guide for that, I'd recommend "(The New) Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" by Betty Edwards. Well, what can be said about this... you work absolutely well with paint and you have nice skills with a very artistic approach... Well done. I like your stalker picture best. And you're also very nice to look at(sorry, just couldn't hold myself saying it ,he he he).I'll stick to digital art myself though, but I always have respect for people who can use their pencils properly and paint as good as you've done here. I really like your gallery. You convey emotion so well with all of your pics. "Stalker" is disturbing (as you would expect) and both of your pics of the "Netherworld Beauty" have such a sense of serenity to them. I can only think of three criticisms for you.

First of all, in your "Netherworld" pics it might help the background if you used some blues or purples (even though they are very good as is).

Second, don't be so critical of your artwork, just learn from your mistakes.

Lastly, you must have more that you could put in your gallery. Considering how good all of these are, people would like to see them.

I've had it before were I had a really good idea and my hands messed it up, I find you just need to relax and not worry about what you are drawing lol.
