Do you ever have a drawing that you just can't finish for some reason? This was one of those. It took me 6 months to finish. Just because I didn't know what to do with it. So I started with it...then put it away again for a week erase stuff doing it all over again...and so on. And the outcome? I still don't really know what it is. I Think I like it though...a native angel watching his valley holding some shiney scythe. He looks troubled. That's the only thing I had in mind for this picture, the rest just came in excistance...and what it is...or it's story...don't know...I'll leave it up to you guys. If you have a good story for this pic, I might do a comission for you ;)...oh and the furr dragoncreature on top? That's my pet fluffy :)

WOW, WOWIE WOW WOW! That is so cool, It reminds me of images that people paint on dreamcatchers. Hmmm let me see if I remember the legend, something about how you place it above your bed while your sleeping and the good dreams will find their way through the patterns, but the bad dreams get caught in the dreamcatcher and are destroyed with the first rays of sunlight. My interpretation of your pic is that the native angel is the one who destroys the bad dreams and the dragons are representations of the bad dreams but heh thats just me...
hehehe but anyway I love your pic, if I had any money at all I would so want it, but what can I say...

wow beautifully done, did you intend for the snake and the river to look like they merge?
all of the textures are so right on the money, I love it it would look awesome in color.

22 Sky van N replies: "I had the intention to color it, it was almost done when my computer crashed and I lost it 16 guess I have to start all over again because is did look nice to me 2 "

I like the way you’ve depicted the mountains in the background, there’s a real sense of depth with the whole fish-eye/three-point perspective feel. The border is cool as well, I always have problems framing my pieces. Well done!

:-) Sky van N replies: "thnx 2 glad you like it "

This is beautiful. I love most all things to do with Native Americans and I have a pretty good collection of Native American stuff.

:-) Sky van N replies: "I really like their culture and I think you can find something of it in every picture I make, even if at first sight it shows nothing of it 2"
