| 6 Sep 2007 | L. Shanra Kuepers | Loading...Hello! Thank you for your comment on 'Fahari'. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it.
I just wanted to ask, since English isn't your main language and I can be quite... brutal in tearing at grammar and spelling whether you'd prefer if I tried to ease up on that for you. (With grammar/style I will always, always try and explain why something doesn't work and what changes are possible. With spelling that's not as easy since you'd have to know the history of every single word that's misspelled.)
Anyway, I just wanted to ask that since I know how my comments can come across and the last thing I want to do is turn people off from writing. (I know the extranet is still down, but if you could drop me a line about that through my main page or e-mail, I'd appreciate that. Can't guarantee when I'll get to reading as the schoolyear is about to start, but I -will- return the favour. ^-^ I just want to do it in such a way that you'd be happy with. (Well, that we'd both be happy with, really.)
| 16 Sep 2007 | L. Shanra Kuepers | Loading...Your spelling isn't nearly as bad as you seem to think, sweetling! ^-^ Anyway, you've seen the kind of comment I leave now (er, at least I think so, I'm not sure how many people check whether their stories have comments without the Extranet), so...
Anyway, wanted to say thank you. There was a story I'd written oh a paragraph of before it decided to fade into obscurity and one of the example sentences I wrote for you sparked it off again. It's only going to be a short piece, but I wouldn't have gotten to it if not for you. (Indirectly, maybe, but all the same.)
So... Thank you! ^-^ | |

And I mean it when I say you shouldn't worry about them too much. They're all things that tend to get sorted over time. Some things will be more stubborn than others (like the difference between lay and lie; that's a favourite pair to mistake), but they'll sort themselves out with time and practice.
*burbles* Er, yes. Always happy to talk about writing, I am. ^-^ Although there's always the risk that I might not shut up...
| 4 Oct 2007 | Lynn K Hollander | Loading...Also, have you checked the way your stories look after publication? I didn't for a long time and was unpleasantly surprised by some visual aspects I found present. Áróra Ó. Halldórsdóttir replies: "actually I haven't Looking at it now makes me notice a few things that I might fix... when I stop being lazy and bother ^^" | |

You've an update? *checks* So you do! ^-^ *prods Elfwood* Start stretching stories all over the page already. It's a nightmare to read this way. Sorry. Minor gripe about the changes to the Elfwood design. *scuttles off to read* Áróra Ó. Halldórsdóttir replies: "my newest isn't really new it just got rejected the first time... because they thought cuba libre was a foreign language ^^ So it really is about a year old but oh well, better late than never ^^And again thanks a bunch for your comments, they help a lot ^^"
