This started out being a graphite picture with a hint of color. As you can see, I changed my mind. The color is produced with colored charcoal. I debated on several different backgrounds before settling with the relatively simple Glastonbury Tor to keep the focus on the figure and the sunset. I also debated what to do with the right arm before deciding to keep it bare - I thought a sleeve might busy things too much and an armband would drop a really awkward set of horizontal lines into the middle of the composition. I also debated on a circlet, but on the advice of friends I kept it out.

First colour picture I saw from you, and its wonderfull. Realy captured my imagintaion. The name Morgaine if from a book I had read.. Made me think of that...

I may be of a different mind from your friends, a thin circlet, nothing fancy to draw attention, would perhaps hade made it more complete. Details, details... it's a very good picture.
