Meet Syl, one of my werewolves. In wolf form he looks most like a way too huge arctic wolf, so completely white, but with violet eyes. He’s got one sister, Selen, of whom he’s overly protective. Being the pack leader, he’s got a strong sense of responsibility and is quite serious, but he’s looser around people he knows well. He’s also notorious for his sarcasm and morbid humor during battle. As a human he’s got the same snowy hair and strange eye colour and is about 1.85 m tall. As it’s so long and hence tends to be in the way sometimes while fighting in his human form he usually wears his hair braided, but apparently Rayne managed to make the ribbon disappear again (which, in truth, happens pretty much 90% of the time) . Bit explanation: Rayne is my red-haired overly arrogant vampire and at a certain moment in the story he and Syl are forced by circumstances to work together and Rayne doesn’t let any opportunity slip by to annoy this poor werewolf. In this particular case they were sort of surprised by an attack and during the fight Rayne scratched Syl in the face with his nails, supposedly accidently. I think Syl’s expression tells you already there’s no doubt he did it on purpose. ;p Being on the same team with a vampire you’ve hunted and hated for all your life is bad enough without him hitting you just as accurately as the enemy. I think Rayne’d better stop grinning, it’s not going to be healthy if Syl manages to catch him in this mood.

Special post for Melly cause the poor girl is in chronic lack of cute long haired guys and I really felt I had to do something about that ;)
Syl, Selen and Rayne as characters are fully  © to me. Don’t steal please.
Made December 2009, in graphite pen. Had huge problems scanning this one in, and some of the shading looks still a bit rougher than in real life, but it’s the best I could manage. And yes, the slightly pinkish glow is my bf's scanner's doing as well.

looks great, good job with the body shape and expression, cool hair and names too, Rayne better watch their back and front1, it reminds me a bit of a game i play called The Witcher

:-) Nikki van de Pol replies: "Dunno the game you referred too, but thanks. As for the anatomy, really tried my best on that, so glad you like that part 1"
