The last embrace of parting lovers who may never see each other again, or the emotional reunion of two that never thought they would? Is she holding him wishing she could shield him from some pain he must endure, or drawing strength from his embrace to ward off something she has endured? Your lines add to the emotions of this piece well. From the twists of their bodies and hair, to th gentlest suggestion of a tear in her eye. Thank you for this. As far as a tip of the hat to Wendy goes, i think she’d be honored at the story you’ve shared in a picture.
