Good.....but not good enough...

its a feeling so many of us have. only really getting comments from our friends, evan after getting excited because you've drawn a pic you think will wow people...

yes i know ...its a good picture, this is a tribute to everyone struggling to get their art noticed

the story behind it

only the best painters get to paint within the sacred caves, their stories pass down the generations....others may only paint on rocks. which will be washed away in the end by wind and rain...

its not ment to sound emo...but i guess it is a 'lil

*i had to edit it on photoshop to darken it a lil

Wow! Thats amazing! Really like how you’ve drawn thw character and the espressions it has.So is the other drawing that is yet to be finished. It’s an interesting concept interesting!Nice work!^^
Btw...What you’ve wrote! Well...It doesn’t sound EMO, as it has truth in it!
Everyone makes his painting,drawing,... as he/she can and shows it to the world as she/he can!
Yet, I’ve seen drawings and paitings that got less attention....
Anyway! Nice work! ^^

:-) Bonnie lindsell replies: "its very true i’m afriad! thanks so much for the comment!"

Be assured that this one will not go unnoticed! The combination of the rock-painting and your own drawing, together with this really well done wolf-creature creates an atmosphere of mysticism and magic that is really touching. Good job!

:-) Bonnie lindsell replies: "^_^ why thankyou!, what a way to boost my confidence a millon 10"

Yeah, I know how this wolf feels. If you’re going to get noticed, you needed to a) have talent and b) advertise, advertise, advertise. Same thing on Elfwood, you’ll notice that the people on the Top Commenters list are also the people who get the most comments. It’s not fair but that’s the way it is.
Anyway, I love the picture. Especially the wolf.

:-) Bonnie lindsell replies: "*chuckles* i totally agree, its a shame its become a popularity contest *shrugs* thanks for the comment my friend!"

*sniffle*8 I know how you feel! I think they should have an "Awesome Art that no one noticed" award...that way, cool art that didn’t quite get a mods (for whatever reason) could get more comments. Anyway, it’s a very beautiful picture, it deserves an award....*sticks star sticker to corner of screen* there! 14 I love his fur, it looks nice and soft2 Beautiful, simply beautiful...
Keep drawing, no matter how many comments you get!!1

:-) Bonnie lindsell replies: "*is proud of her star on the screen* ^_^ Thankyou very much, to behonest comments like yours means more to me than awards, as its about enjoying that art, not about the popularity contest that most of these sites have become. again thankyou for your comment"

I love this character, I think I like it the most of yours. The sepia colour effect really suits the scene and the composition is well thought out too. The only thing I could criticise is perhaps the black rectangle around the bottom of the rock; I think it would have been better in dark brown to match the rest of the piece (that’s just my opinion though!) I know what you mean about not getting comments. I try really hard to leave longish constructive comments when I can and I comment in all galleries I visit if the artist looks like they are going to reply. I love getting comments so it would only be fair to give them out too! Now you’ve got an essay from me! Ha ha.
