| 23 May 2005 | Ricky Bales | yeah... You might want to consider a little more detail in some of your peices. Like, for example, Pert the Magic Dragon. It has alot of potential, but the proportions are out of wack. The bottom jaw could be pulled back a tad more closer to the skull and could be shrunk down a little. Keep practicing to get poses right. peace, Nolan A. Lawless replies: "Thank you for your input. I intended "Pert" to be more crocodilian than the typical dragon, so I think the proportions are closer than it seems. Also, these were all rough sketches and there are fully-fleshed versions coming eventually." | |
| 23 Oct 2006 | Anonymouse | To get the proportions and details (and perspective) right, try: 1. Complete several of the many drawing tutorials available here and at other places. 2. Do at least a few flawless and some customised copies of others' work. You seem to already have the spirit of an artist. Now only the skill remains... | |

| 14 Apr 2008 | Night mare | yeah, try too add more detail . . . but the one where the knight is watching the serpent go by in the sunset is perfect, probably your best piece. | |
