| 6 Dec 2007 | Moriah Sky Rullmoss | I love your works! very brave of you to stand up for what you love...in this society. I am a very skinny girl myself but I love the women you draw! I think all types of bodies should be displayed. Bravo! And good job on all the cool headed replys on all the insults. Keep it up. I advise that you delete atleast a couple of insults, they make me sick just looking at them. Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton replies: "Why thank you very much! It just feels incredibly wrong down to my soul that so many people today do not appreciate or even understand NATURAL beauty (fat OR thin). If you’re not the same as someone else’s view of beauty, then you can always become a plastic facsimile. It’s horrid and disgusting and scary. This is why i create my art, and i’m very happy that people are given at least a little bit of a boost from my work. And yah, i’ve thought about deleting some of the bad comments. I often wonder if it’s better to silence the opposition, or allow their words to be shown so that i can pummel them with an intelligent response, hehe. Some people make it their mission to be ****s on the internet without any real knowledge of the subject matter they’re attacking. So i am grateful for people like you, who are not often included in my own chosen "genre", yet still appreciate what i’m doing. " | |
| 6 Dec 2007 | Amy | Well it nice to know that ppl dont just go for thin one lol
but did u know in 1700 till 1800 century that being fat u where considered a well rich welthier person than a thin person where consider poor an uneducated
just though i say something
i love your picture’s too Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton replies: "Yah, bigger, full-figured women are beautiful to me, so i love to use my art to present that! And yes, back in those days it was much more appreciated if a woman had a figure. It’s a sad state when guys today want a shapeless paris hilton clone. So i’m here to show that fat girls are beautiful TODAY, too! Not just back in the old days!"
| 7 Dec 2007 | Alicea Rea Tresidder | I am back again to admire your beautiful plump women!!! You capture such a joyous and healthful image!!! Just Great! Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton replies: "Aw, thank you very much!" | |
| 25 Dec 2007 | Emily 'Foxbane' Oldroyd | Hey there. =) I'm enjoying looking at your artwork and reading your opinions. Often, I worry about my weight, so words like yours really give me a much needed confidence boost. I wear clothes in sizes 8 to 12 (that's UK sizes - I believe that's 4 to 8 in US sizes) depending on the garment, which I know is a small size, and below average, but sometimes I look through magazines at all the women and I know they've had their body shapes airbrushed and changed, but it still makes me feel miserable. I know that if I was silly enough to lose a lot of weight, I'd not be able to do my martial arts, rock climbing, etc - as I wouldn't be strong enough (and right now I do have a lot of muscle mass and strength) but the thoughts still crop up. Hearing your views, however, has made me feel better today. =) Thank you for sharing your artwork - you draw very attractive pictures that flatter the characters in them. Please keep it up, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has appreciated your message! | |
| 22 Jan 2008 | Hanna Mansdotter Rydén | This brought joy to my entire person. Thank you! I was looking for some reference for how to draw plump people, and there it was, all the reference I’ll ever need and a real booster for my confidence. Not only do you show that big is beautiful, you show that hairy is beautiful too, a point I’ve been trying to make myself, perhaps not so much in art as in life since I refuse to conform and shave any of it off! Keep it up, you’ve gained another fan! | |

| 14 Mar 2008 | Angela Shandi Howard | I wander ElfWood on a daily basis and this is the first time I’ve looked at someone’s whole gallery. I am a BIG girl my cousin is a BIG girl but she’s beautiful pale creamy skin and long black hair and eyes that are always laughing. People can’t see past her size to see her soul. She is like some of your ladies happy and full of love. I pray that someone will be able to see past her size to see her soul.
Here’s to originallity! and you keep doing what your doing! I enjoyed them very much!

| 18 Mar 2008 | Sisse Julius Matthiesen | Did you know, that fat people die early? Anyways, you make them look pretty!
I can see that your faries are happy and active. Makes me happy. They are very unik!! Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton replies: "Well, so do skinny people, or smokers, or people with disease, or people who are murdered, etc... I have known many bigger women who were more active, ate healthier and were more fit than their skinnier friends. "
