This was my original idea for drawing a woman with rainbow hair, but i couldn't figure out how to draw it for a long time (a couple of years, if i believe correctly). I originally did a blueskinned goddess with falling rainbow hair, but something didn't look "right" about it, and i just removed it today (Apr.10, 2006 - though this image was actually drawn March 2004, and originally uploaded then, too) to make room for some other images. I just had the inspiration and made the drawing much MUCH closer to that i had envisioned in my mind: To have her wringing her hair as if bathing in a stream, but the stream her feet are on is her own hair ... flowing like a ribbon of water, supporting her in mid-air as it brightens the sky ... This was what i wanted to accomplish in the first place ... i did screw up with the colors at one turn in the hair there ... if you can tell ... but it still looks pretty! I think.

10 Sep 2005	Mary Ella Ann Flanigan	Loading... oh, how nice and cheerful. I love the mix of colours, and the way her hair is twisting and turning.Thank you very much. It was the twisting and turning that i really wanted to capture in this one! This is one of my favorites.
