Even Demon Sorceresses need to wash their belly-buttons!

This is a piece i'd worked on for quite a while. I had it drawn out about a month before i could get up the energy to begin coloring it, cuz i knew it was going to be a huge task ...

Here's a Demon Sorceress, possibly my old character "Morothca", as evil can be, caught in a rare tender moment, taking a dark shower, deep in thought.
I love when my pictures turn out to show their expressions in a way to make you wonder what they're thinking or saying! It wasn't really intended, but i think it makes it a little deeper.

Man, where to i start with the technical part of it? Well, i think the purple demon water and the worm were much influenced by Metroid Prime 2: Echoes when you're in Dark Aether (the dark version of the planet you visit in the game) - fans will know what i mean, heh. I am so happy with how the worm turned out ... better than i had hoped! Flaws here and there of course, but still cool!

And i really wanted to try to draw an entirely self-contained piece of artwork, something that frames itself with itself, as i've never really done that before, and i love seeing it when other artists do it!

This was all mechanical pencil and pencil crayons (aka colored pencils). I worked really hard on it and i love how she turned out, and i would love to know what people think of it!

Strange. I like the colours. Her body really reminds me of that famous stone-goddess one sees so much around in archaeology things.

:-) Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton replies: "Those ancient "Venus" statues? Cool. I’ve always admired them, but i wasn’t thinking about them when i drew this. Perhaps subconsciously! So thank you very much! I love the shapes of full-figured women. "

The stylistic quality of this one drew me in right away- i love the color, and her finger in her belly button- i can almost hear that little "woop" when she finally pulls it out... The tree is too cool
