SciFi and Fantasy Art If She Hollers ... by Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton

Well, what can i say about this one? I love it, and am super proud of the colors and stuff! I wanted her to be a lighter orange with yellow-white fringes, but then decided to make her full on orange with black shading. And just made her face and the soles of her feet light orange/yellow. Originally her hair in my mind was a deep red, almost burgundy, but then i thought it would look very lovely as white ... so i shaded it with orange and yellow with green front pieces. Let's see who can guess the reference in this piece ... It's not too hard ... the hint is in the purple toe and the quote .....

30 Aug 2010	Jeanette M Thomas	Loading... Ah, progress. I probably go back a good ways past most of your viewers. When I was a child the rhyme had a far less politically correct subject. I wasn’t aware of the substitution, but I’m glad it was made. Curiously, it reminds me of another tiger from another politically non-correct subject. The story of "Little ----- Sambo" where the little boy is treed by a couple of tigers that circle his tree round and round so fast that they turn into a pool of melted butter. Don’t know if that story title got changed - hope so, it was a cute story
