I wanted to do a spoof of how car magazines have ladies draped over the cars, but i couldn't figure out a good vehicle to use. I was thinking Star Wars ... but an X-Wing is too big, and a TIE Fighter is too awkward ... so i decided to look to the Fantasy realm and decided on a giant, protective Monster. She was probably abandonned by her parents in the deep forest and met a Puppy Monster and bonded with him. Now she and he are lifelong best friends, living in the wilds. It's hard to draw a big big girl in a pose like that ... but she's chubby enough anyway, right? right! hehe. I am quite happy with this one.

It reminds me of the brightly soloured blocks very young children play with. Also, I love the effect of the maid's hair over the monster. It seems kind of symbolic of fire.Thank you very much. Color is very important to me, and i'm glad it can be appreciated!

When my daughter was a little girl (and still to this day) we would love to curl up and watch a good (or even not so good) horror flick...she was spoiled with tons of toys but the one she loved best was her "pet monster"!! She slept with it and drug it everywhere!! Twenty years later it's the only one that made it intact and still her favorite pet!! Thanks for the trip down memory lane...Yah, "My pet monster, he's my very very bestest friend!" That's all i can remember of the song. Used to be my favorite cartoon at one time ...
