SciFi and Fantasy Art Oceania (inspired by the Bjork Song) by Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton

Oceania (inspired by the beautifully happy Bjork Song of the same name) 'Your nimble feet make prints ...' As soon as i heard and made out those lyrics from that song, along with the watery theme of the song, i immediately had this image in my head: A water Goddess standing on the ocean with her hair falling into the water as if filling the ocean, and playfully kicking up a splash of water with her foot during a bright sunrise! It took me about half a year to fully feel the visualization that brought it out onto paper yesterday, and i am VERY happy with it! It's sort of the counter-piece to my 'Trouble with Demon Goddesses' piece who's playfully smashing things and squashing people with her deadly feet in the sunset. Oceania is holding her daddy, Poseidon the Greek Ocean God's (or Neptune of the Roman Gods's) trident, taking a stroll along her oceans. (Now, i don't really know if Poseidon ever had a daughter, so i just made that part up, heh) It's just of full of life and beauty and ... i just love looking at this picture!

And needles are painful, let me tell you something. Did I tell you? Something’s going wrong with the tattoo. It seriously makes me want to cry.
