| 23 Mar 2008 | Blurrr | Loading...no offense but your wasting your talent. You are a really good drawer but the things you draw are really disgustiing. i know your trying to show that every type of woman is beautiful but even you have to admit a woman with huge fat rolls is disgusting. And at least draw clothes for god sakes this almost make me barf. Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton replies: "That’s the thing, it is only your opinion that they are disgusting. I love a rolly woman, they’re so fun to play with and draw and they are usually beautiful people inside as well, especially since they have to deal with daily comments like yours all their lives.
I find them to be beautiful, sexy and wonderful human beings. It’s your loss. "
| 24 Mar 2008 | Blurr 2 | Loading...and the women you draw are unhealthy. Theyre morbidly obese. BEing obese is just as bad as being anorexic you know....... Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton replies: "That term "morbidly obese" is being thrown about by fat-haters left and right with NO comprehension on the actual meaning of the word. They think it’s "scientific" so they think it’s ok to use it as a very thinly veiled insult. Admit, you have no true empathy for their health problems - you just want them to think they are wrong because you have been taught by the media and others that they are ugly.
Do any of the women i’ve drawn appear to be bedridden? Do any of them seem to have trouble moving, or standing, or anything? No. I choose to draw healthy fat women. I’ve known fat women who were more healthy, more active, more flexible, and generally more fit than most of their thinner peers.
No doubt, being bigger does slow you down, physically - but there are those who are not slowed down. Imagine how much stronger and fitter they are than most of us for being able to carry that extra weight without trouble!
People like you need to learn not to just blindly follow trends based on false evidence, and start building your own tastes. Otherwise you’ll never be yourself. "
| 22 May 2008 | Mindy Lynn Lynn | Loading...I love this! I like how it is so different! She’s very cute even if Blurr is going to say mean things about it. Everyone has their own taste and I am so so so happy that everyone isn’t into the same thing! It would be horribly boring. =[ I like this, keep on doing what your doing! Nick P. ´LimeGreenSquid´ Marton replies: "Why thank you very much! Yah, one kinda has to accept the fact that you’ll get negative comments when drawing stuff like i do, but it’s the positive comments that make up for it all (and overwhelm the bad comments with their massive numbers, fortunately!)" | |
