SciFi and Fantasy Art Hrothulf´s stuff by Nathan M. Rosario

Another picture of Hrothulf. This one actually had a practical purpose. In order to make sure all the equipment he carried made sense, I drew two views of him with all of his gear on. This way he wouldn't be carrying more equipment than would logically fit on his body. One side note the tattoo is missing from his face because he hadn't gotten it yet at this point; but the coward mark had long since been removed.

Im glad to see someone draw a dwarf without the crusty long beard and the fat belly! your drawings are exactly what I always thought a dwarf should look like. I also love the realism you put into the face and the body. I would really like to see you do more!

Are you sure you didn't go to some far-off otherworld and take a whole bunch of snapshots and then just manipulate them to look like pencil? Hrm... I guess not This is THAT good though! Seriously. I also like that sort of (can't think of the right word exactly. grr!) dreamy or aloof look in his eyes. ^_^
18 Mar 2009	Patrick LordSnow Tinkl	Loading... awesome pic. and great idea, to make sure his stuff fits on him. i’m instantly inclined to do something like that myself for my own character...unfortunately my designs often collide heavily with reality...people just look so much more mundane when carrying bags and packs :/ oh, well oh, and...for some reason he reminds me of hulk hogan, but that could be the beard.
